इंद्रावती नदी पर स्थित यह शानदार जलप्रपात भारत का सबसे चौड़ा झरना है और इसे 'भारत का नियाग्रा' भी कहा जाता है। घोड़े की नाल के आकार का यह झरना लगभग 95 फीट की ऊंचाई से गिरता है। मौसम के अनुसार इसका रूप बदलता रहता है - मानसून में यह विशाल और गरजता हुआ होता है, जबकि सर्दियों में यह शांत और सौम्य धाराओं में बहता है।

निकटतम शहर जगदलपुर (38 किमी) है, जहाँ से टैक्सी या बस आसानी से मिल जाती है।
विंध्य पर्वतमाला पर स्थित मैनपाट को 'छत्तीसगढ़ का शिमला' कहा जाता है। यह अपनी खूबसूरत वादियों, झरनों और तिब्बती बस्तियों के लिए प्रसिद्ध है। 1959 में चीनी आक्रमण के बाद यहाँ तिब्बती शरणार्थियों को बसाया गया था, जो इसे एक अनूठी सांस्कृतिक पहचान देता है।
साल भर, लेकिन मानसून में हरियाली मनमोहक होती है।
निकटतम शहर अंबिकापुर (55 किमी) है, जहाँ से बसें और टैक्सियाँ उपलब्ध हैं।
इस मंदिर को इसकी खूबसूरत नक्काशी और खजुराहो से मिलती-जुलती शैली के कारण 'छत्तीसगढ़ का खजुराहो' कहा जाता है। 11वीं शताब्दी में बना यह मंदिर भगवान शिव को समर्पित है और मैकल पर्वत श्रृंखला की हरी-भरी वादियों के बीच स्थित है।

यह कवर्धा शहर से 18 किमी दूर है। रायपुर से कवर्धा (लगभग 120 किमी) बस या टैक्सी से पहुँचा जा सकता है।
डोंगरगढ़ छत्तीसगढ़ का एक प्रमुख तीर्थ स्थल है। यहाँ 1600 फीट ऊंची पहाड़ी पर मां बम्लेश्वरी का भव्य मंदिर स्थित है। इस मंदिर तक पहुंचने के लिए लगभग 1100 सीढ़ियां चढ़नी पड़ती हैं। नवरात्रि के दौरान यहाँ लाखों श्रद्धालु दर्शन के लिए आते हैं।
क्वांर और चैत्र नवरात्रि (अक्टूबर और मार्च/अप्रैल)।
डोंगरगढ़ रेलवे स्टेशन मुंबई-हावड़ा मुख्य लाइन पर स्थित है। यह रायपुर से लगभग 100 किमी दूर है।
महानदी के तट पर स्थित सिरपुर एक ऐतिहासिक और पुरातात्विक खजाना है। यह कभी दक्षिण कोसल की राजधानी हुआ करती थी। यहाँ 7वीं शताब्दी का प्रसिद्ध लक्ष्मण मंदिर है। यहाँ हर साल 'सिरपुर राष्ट्रीय नृत्य और संगीत महोत्सव' का आयोजन भी होता है।

यह रायपुर से लगभग 85 किमी दूर है और सड़क मार्ग से अच्छी तरह जुड़ा हुआ है।
यह छत्तीसगढ़ के सबसे खूबसूरत राष्ट्रीय उद्यानों में से एक है। यह अपनी जैव विविधता और चूना पत्थर की गुफाओं के लिए प्रसिद्ध है। यहाँ की कुटुमसर और कैलाश गुफाएं अपने आप में अद्भुत हैं, जहाँ जमीन के नीचे बनी आकृतियाँ आपको आश्चर्यचकित कर देंगी।

Dongargarh is a major pilgrimage site in Chhattisgarh. Here, the magnificent temple of Maa Bamleshwari is located on a 1600-feet high hill. One has to climb about 1100 steps to reach the temple. Millions of devotees visit during Navratri.
Kwar and Chaitra Navratri (October and March/April).
Dongargarh railway station is on the main Mumbai-Howrah line. It is about 100 km from Raipur.
Located on the banks of the Mahanadi river, Sirpur is a historical and archaeological treasure. It was once the capital of Dakshin Kosala. The famous 7th-century Laxman Temple is located here. The annual 'Sirpur National Dance and Music Festival' is also held here.

It is about 85 km from Raipur and is well-connected by road.
This is one of the most beautiful national parks in Chhattisgarh. It is famous for its biodiversity and limestone caves. The Kutumsar and Kailash caves here are marvelous, where underground formations will leave you astonished.
